Live. Learn. Love.

Who we are

Our story

New Life Christian Fellowship was planted 14th April 1985 and has been a Christian community in Beccles, Suffolk since then, meeting in various locations across the town, including Sir John Leman High School, SET Beccles School and the Waveney Day Centre on New Market.

In January 2023, we became Life Church Beccles and purchased the old Laura Ashley building on Newgate, soon to become The Hive; a home for our church family and a resource to serve our community

Our big aim is to make disciples of Jesus who:

Live as church family

Live in friendship

Live

Learn to be like Jesus

Learn to live like Jesus

Learn

Love God with worship and service

Love Beccles and Beyond with words, works and wonders

Love

We are enjoying our journey with God and are excited about what He has in store for us in the future. The best way to get to know us is by coming along to one of our social events or by joining us at our Sunday gatherings.

Whether you're spiritual, sceptical or searching, you are welcome. We hope to see you soon!

We’re part of a growing family of churches

Life Church Beccles is part of Relational Mission, a family of churches committed to seeing lives and communities transformed by the grace of God all over the world. We seek to do this by recreating New Testament church life for our day; equipping every believer to be a witness to Jesus, training the next generation of leaders, starting new churches and empowering the church to meet the needs of a broken world. We highly value genuine friendships and corporate prayer as essential to fulfilling our shared mission.

Relational Mission works in partnership with Newfrontiers, a group of apostolic leaders partnering together on global mission, joined by common values and beliefs, shared mission and genuine relationships.

Life Church Beccles are also members of the Evangelical Alliance, a group of hundreds of organisations, thousands of churches and tens of thousands of individuals, joined together for the sake of the gospel.
